RLR Msport is a full service racing team based at the University of Bolton.
Team RLR’s operations are diverse, including an entry in the European Le Mans series with an LMP2 Oreca and Ginetta LMP3,running GT, Prototype and Historic race cars in many series such as the VdeV Series.
The RLR Msport team also manages cars for track day customers and provides high quality preparation for both modern and historic race cars.
RLR Msport is a highly experienced team running their own LMP2 cars for client drivers in the European Endurance Series.
Nick Reynolds is an experienced sports car and historic F1 engineer and has specialised in the preparation of modern and historic sportscars and single-seaters with great success. Nick is a founder member of RLR Msport.
Lindsey is the Business Manager for RLR and is in charge of all financial and administrative activities.

RLR’s new purpose-built facility based in the University of Bolton offers state of the art workshops and manufacturing capabilities. We can offer rapid turnaround, one-offs and low volume production.
At RLR MSport we have facilities for 3D scanning and 3D printing and will take CAD drawings or dwgs that are supplied to us and manufacture those parts using our in-house CNC machine. The parts that are produced are of the same weight and dimensions, the same physical appearance but are better and stronger than the originals. We not only carry out manufacturing for present race vehicles, but we can reverse engineer and manufacture components within the regulation of historic racing.
We can also make a wide range of jigs and tooling for all motorsport and manufacturing applications.

RLR Msport can offer a complete evaluation capability, including a Wind Tunnel with fully developed CFD systems; materials testing including FEA, impact and stress analysis using MATLAB and other leading edge computer supported tools.
RLR can also perform complete suspension system evaluations including damper engineering.
The University of Bolton, with their CAPE programme and partners at RLR, are at the forefront of researching into technologies specific in motorsport applications. RLR Msport has a collaboration with the University, with access to the latest developments in all motorsport related engineering faculties.
These cover Smart Materials including thermoelectric materials, engine technologies including hybrid vehicle systems, performance prediction, and engine developments for better fuel usage. The research covers also a range of renewable technologies and the new communication technologies, including device to device data streaming and C3I protocols.
